Salary: £35k - £45k

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Onsite

The Role

My client is looking for a motivated Quality Manager to oversee all quality assurance and control processes within the organisation. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system to ensure that their products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and processes

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Lead and coordinate quality improvement initiatives

• Manage the supplier qualification process and supplier quality performance

• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action activities

• Ensure that all products and services meet or exceed customer requirements

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation

• Develop and implement training programs to ensure employee understanding of quality requirements

• Communicate quality performance metrics to the senior management team

• Routine Health & Safety checks

The Candidate

• In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques

• Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Experience working in sheet metal fabrication / engineering environment

• Experience of using Inspection Tools and Equipment

• Working knowledge of GDT (geometrical dimensional tolerancing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience / understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 accreditation

• Basic grounding in H&S policies and procedures
