Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 6am to 2.30pm, Mon to Thurs, 11.30am finish on Friday. (37.5 hours a week.)

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £43,693.55

The Company:

A well established precision engineering company within the aerospace industry.

The Role:

To ensure all manufacturing machinery and site services are maintained both electrically and mechanically
To respond to breakdowns in priority order
Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift on issue, cause and recommended solution
To record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using Piranha system
To undertake servicing of machines and ancillary equipment
To carry out facility repairs and maintenance
To source and obtain parts and materials as required
To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the register
To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs
To ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all times
To ensure all work is carried out to relevant legislation and EHS standards
To support the efficiency improvements through engagement of ABS methodology & deployment
To undertake improvement activities that enable efficiency improvements to the plant
To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards
