Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Per Annum (Depending on experience)

Benefits: 25 days + Bank Holidays, Health Care Scheme, Company Sick Pay, Specsavers Vouchers, off road parking.

Shifts: 6-2pm and 2-10pm Monday - Friday 37.5 hours weekly

A global manufacturer specialising in precision engineered parts for multiple industries.

Maintenance engineer Responsibilities:

Responsible for carrying out a wide variety of repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks, to ensure machines are operating to optimal functionality and to minimise machine downtime.
Ability to Fit, Weld, Fabricate, when required, to ensure the site and machinery is well maintained at all times.
Identify and address issues such as wiring defects, circuit malfunctions, and component degradation.
Comply with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with the Company Health & Safety policy and legislative requirements.
Share knowledge and mentor junior/apprentice technicians to build a skilled and capable maintenance team.

Maintenance engineer- Required experience:

The company are open to seeing both mechanically biased or Electrically biased candidates.
Minimum 2 years maintaining CNC Machines.
Strong understanding of aerospace electrical systems, avionics, and regulations. Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external parties at all levels.
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aerospace electrical systems.
Professional certifications (e.g., NVQ, Certified Electrical Technician) are advantageous.
