Shift: Rotating 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm Mon to Fri
Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: £10.50 to £12.08 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a full-time, permanent Fettler to join their busy fabrication team based in the Leicester area.

You will be responsible for grinding and sanding metal products to remove defects, press marks or rough spots, using a range of hand and power tools.

• Fettling, Grinding, Deburring, Polishing of metal components.

• Fettling components to clean finishes.

• Working independently and as part of a team

• Liaise with Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time.

• Read, understand and be able to work from drawings.

• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.

• Use various hand tools.

• Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures.

Skills:

• Experience using sanders, air saws, electrical hand grinders

• Experience using hand tools

• Willing to wear appropriate PPE in the workplace

• Heavy Lifting
