Shifts: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
2 x 15-minute and 1 x 30-minute paid breaks.
Salary: £12.00 - £15.00 per hour, (Dependent on experience),
Overtime: Up to 6 hours = x1.25, 7 hours+ = x1.5

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
Performs first-Off, Patrol and final inspections, as directed.
Program/operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Visually inspect components for surface defects
Recommend rejection, rework, or re-test, as required.
Reports inspection findings and results on the computer in MRP system
Generates non-conforming material reports (NCR) for items non-conforming items.
Maintain records and prepares all paperwork relating to inspection and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's).
Produce FAIR's as and when required.
Maintain adequate measuring equipment and inspection fixture requirements.
Makes recommendations for improvements, where needed.
Supports the continuing 5-S and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Essential Skills of a Quality Inspector:
Experience interpreting and working to customer drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of First Principal measurement techniques
Experience using measuring equipment.
Good knowledge of FAIR process
Ability to operate a CMM.
Desirable Skills of a Quality Inspector:
Prior experience / knowledge of the Aerospace industry.
