New Laws regarding Zero Hour Contracts

Since the 26th March of 2015,

The Small Business, Enterprise & Employment Act of 2015

Stops Employers from writing an Exclusivity Clause into their Contracts of Employment!

This also means that Employers cannot stop workers on zero hour’s contracts from taking work elsewhere.
Workers have the right to take action against employers who do not respect that workers right.

This should Not affect recruitment agencies.

They already have to adhere to:

The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Businesses Regulations Act of 2003
