CV Writing

A survey has shown that 90% of jobseekers use other people’s CV for their own. It appears many people rely on examples and templates from the Internet, as they are not confident in their own writing skills.

A quarter of those questioned also said that someone else had written their CV for them. However, all those questioned said they had included communication skills as a key skill in their CV.

It is important to reflect your realistic skills in your CV as employers want to know the ‘real you’ and be confident that “they get what it says on the tin”. This will bode well for a much more solid foundation in a new job role.
