Job Title: Quality Systems Engineer (Days)

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £45,000

Job Type: Full Time/ Perm (38 hr/week)

The Role

Due to continued growth and expansion my client has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. My client is looking for a candidate who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the Quality Management System to meet the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP and other customer specific requirements.

• Maintain and develop Quality System Procedures ensuring that the contents meet the current and future needs of the business.

• Maintain and develop a comprehensive audit structure and corrective action reporting system to control and improve quality assurance throughout the business.

• Conduct Quality System audits and assist in the training and mentoring of other business auditors.

• Manage third party audits from pre-audit preparation through to effective close out of non-conformances and recommendations.

• Coordinate the activities of the companies nominated external NDT Level 3 representative.

• Report on quality related Key Performance Indicators and use the data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

• Act as a key stakeholder in the specification, selection and implementation of systems and processes to support the transformation of the business to a future digital environment.

• Lead quality related training activities through the business to support the development of a Zero Defect culture.

• Support other functional areas of the business in relation to quality assurance activities.

• Perform other duties as required which relate to the scope of the role.

The Candidate

* Good experience working as a Quality Systems Engineer or a Quality Engineer

* Confident working with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP

* Experience of working with Environmental Management Systems to ISO14001 standards

* Certified Quality Internal Auditor

* Ability to create continuous improvement processes and lead change

* Good problem-solving techniques such as 8Ds, 5Ys etc

* Confident reading technical drawings
