Job Title: Project Controller
Location: Rugby 37.5 Hours (Office Based, Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm and Friday working from home with an early finish)
Salary: £30k - £40k
Our client is looking for a Project Financial Controller to manage project finances and reporting. Your role is to maintain budgets, analyse project performance, and provide timely financial insights. You'll collaborate with project teams, oversee forecasting, and ensure revenue recognition. Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities include:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Performance: Monitor and control project finances, conduct analysis, and identify risks.
Project Integration: Work closely with project teams and attend reviews.
Forecasting: Lead the creation of project forecasts and assess accuracy.
Revenue Management: Manage revenue recognition and ensure profitability control.
Invoice Approval: Review and approve project invoices.
Performance Reporting: Compile project data and assist in reporting to management or customers.
Month-End Closing: Execute month-end closing activities.
Assist with financial reports, audits, and special projects.
Financial Awareness: Promote financial awareness, document best practices, and provide training.
Travel: Be willing to travel to project sites.
Able to prioritise duties and effectively manage time.
Detail oriented and organized.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Takes initiative and executes independently.
Demonstrates openness to new ideas.
Relevant degree and studying towards CIMA qualification
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance/Accounting position
English (fluent), second language is a plus
