Job Title: Trainee Paint Shop Operative
Location: Leicestershire, LE12
Salary: £12.00 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience
Shift: 7:30am to 4pm Mon to Fri

The Company:
A leading metal fabrication business located in the East midlands that produces medium sheet metal fabrications for the UK and worldwide.
The Trainee Paint Shop Operative Role:
- Load and unload machinery
- Assist paint sprayers
- Sanding and fettling
- Use of hand and power tools
- Preparing parts for spraying
- Training with paint spraying and proper use of equipment
- Any other duties as request
The Candidate

Have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
-
Be comfortable with consistent heavy lifting
-
Be competent with the use of hand and power tools
-
Be good at taking verbal and visual training instructions
-
Be willing to undertake other duties such as loading and unloading, assembly and paint preparation

Be reliable and flexible towards working hours and overtime

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Be proactive and suggest improvements.
