Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 / annum

The Role
Our client who is a manufacturer and supplier of complete lift packages, lift components and peripheral devices to the UK lift industry is looking for a software engineer to join there expanding team.
Duties and responsibilities:

Create and maintain software and hardware solutions in support of assigned projects

Work closely with the Team Leader and other team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects

Participate in team design reviews as appropriate
-
Provide the basis & some content for product documentation
-
Undertake open-ended design projects based on customer input
-
Ensure coherent & professional communication with customer peer groups
The Candidate
Experience of:
-
Firmware development
-
Software development
-
Electronic circuit design
-
Facilitate PCB layout
-
Modification and prototype construction
Additional skills that may be useful:
-
Some hardware experience useful
-
Education BSc or BEng Hons in relevant subjects

Min 5 years of post-grad experience
