The Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer with expertise in Solidworks, retail displays, and joinery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of retail displays, ensuring the highest quality and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop innovative and practical retail display solutions.
- Utilize Solidworks to create detailed and accurate technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
- Provide technical expertise in joinery techniques and materials to optimize the structural integrity and aesthetics of retail displays.
- Conduct thorough quality checks and performance testing to ensure all products meet the required standards.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or relevant field.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and other CAD software.
- Extensive experience in retail display design, or shopfitting and manufacturing, with a focus on joinery.
Day-to-day
- Work closely with the design team to conceptualize and develop innovative retail display solutions.
- Use Solidworks to create detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with production teams to address manufacturing challenges and ensure product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in retail display design and joinery techniques.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide technical insights and support project planning and execution.
