Quality Inspector

Job Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Leicestershire

Shift: 8:15AM – 16:45PM Monday – Thursday and 8AM – 2PM Friday

Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience

The Role:

• Final inspection to customer requirements on all batches including visual inspection, first article inspection reports and dimensional measurements

• Checking and release of first off parts produced in the machine shop

• Assistance with final finishing operations of bolts and studs

  • Polishing (manual and automated)

  • Part marking

  • Deburring

• Operating PC-riven measuring equipment

  • TESA

  • Surface measurement

  • Contracing

• Completion and fiing of all QA documentation as required

• Operating machinery as requested (changing parts and measuring parts)

• Following Health and Safety Guidelines

The Candidate:

• Engineering background

• Background in Quality Assurance / Inspection within an engineering environment and an understanding of quality tools and techniques

• Working within an ISO 9001 environment

• Experience in using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, gauges etc

• Understanding of key manufacturing Quality Standards
