Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

The Role
A fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and innovative engineer to join my clients team in a pivotal role that bridges the realms of software development, electrical design, and mechanical CAD design for the creation of cutting-edge test rigs.
Duties and responsibilities:

To be able to develop as well as implement schedules to meet the client demands, and being able to ensure resources are utilised efficiently and to high-quality.

To be able to analyse and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency and to be able to be cost-effective whilst doing this.

To monitor and control the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to prevent wastage.

To identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, which would result in cost reduction, and driving stronger manufacturing performance.

To collaborate with Head of Manufacturing to develop and manage budgets, ensuring the cost-effectiveness of the operation whilst maintaining high-quality standards.

Maintain commercial records (quotations, instructions, contracts etc)
The Candidate
-
A minimum of 5~ years’ experience in a leadership/manufacturing role.

To be able to implement ISO 9001 processes.

Experience in working with a company in a similar industry.

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

Experience of interpreting CAD generated drawings.

Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable to work in a busy team.
