Job Role: Display Stand Assembler

Pay Rate: £11.50 – £12.50 per hour depending on experience + overtime
Location: Leicestershire
Shift: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Type: Full-time, permanent

The Company:

• A Forward-thinking, expanding Graphics and Branding consultancy specialising in the Retail industry, are looking for a Display Stand Assembler to support their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work amongst a team of assembly operatives

• Assist with general Quality Control checks.

• Assembly and packing of retail display stands and retail fixtures/furniture.

• Delivery/collection of goods if the dedicated delivery driver is unavailable, collecting and delivering locally and on rare occasions- nationally.

Candidate Requirements:

• Competent in assembly and packing of retail display items, working from specific instructions.

• Part assembling and quality checking components during the assembly phase.

• Use of appropriate packaging materials to suit protection for the goods.

• Use of light hand/air powered / power tools.

• Use correct manual handling techniques, including use of forklift truck (training provided as required.)

• Accurately record / check condition of fixtures to a brief and making reports for team leader.

• Carry out routine maintenance checks of warehouse equipment, including cleaning duties, disposal of unrequired displays – under instructions from Line Manager.

• Hold a full UK driving license.

• Be fluent in English.
