Job Title: Bench Hand Joiner
Shift: Monday – Thursday (6:30am – 6:00pm) Friday (6:30am – 4pm)
Salary: Up to £17.50 per hour
Location: Leicestershire, LE9
Benefits: Holidays, regular overtime Monday to Saturday, free and on-site parking, early finish on a Friday, progression opportunities.
The Company:
An established bespoke point of sale joinery company based in Leicestershire are currently looking for Bench Hand Joiners to join their expanding team and business.
They work on projects for high-end retail wholesalers, ranging from pop up window displays, in store displays and stands and much more.
Bench Hand Joiner Role:
The right candidate for the bench hand joiner position will be working in a busy and fast paced environment, working on cosmetic and point of sale displays. They have a dynamic and proactive team meaning a strong teamwork ethic is essential, however, you will also be required to work independently on your own throughout the day.
Bench Hand Joiner Requirements:
- Experience manufacturing cosmetics displays or point of sale joinery.
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings
- Must be competent in laminating and finishing,
- Experience on metal laminates is desired but not essential
- Experience working with solid surface
- Must have own tools and kit
- Experience with spindle moulders, edge banders, hand saws, band saws, dim saws and hand routers is essential.
